An Introduction to Labyrinths

'Playful interaction and soulful contemplation'
Mark Healy aka The Labyrinth Man, and US artist & designer Lisa Gidlow Moriarty will give us an overview of the "what" and "why" of labyrinths in this pre-conference presentation.

We have been fortunate to secure a pre-conference presentation with Australian Labyrinth Master, Mark Healy - aka The Labyrinth Man - and Australian Labyrinth Network Gathering Keynote Speaker, Lisa Gidlow Moriarty - artist, designer and master labyrinth maker from Minnesota.

At the end of the session you will have some understanding of the history, use and design of labyrinths that will inspire further exploration and perhaps lead you to think about the development of a community labyrinth project, incorporating elements of horticultural therapy. We will also walk the Peter Canisius contemplation labyrinth where you can practice your new-found knowledge. It is a fascinating subject and we are sure that you will want to continue the discussion of labyrinths with Mark and Lisa over dinner.
The evening will wrap up with a lovely 3 course buffet dinner - included in the booking price.

Wednesday 18th April, 2018, 4pm - 6pm (followed by buffet dinner)
